Sometimes, the moments that remind you why you started come when you least expect them.
Recently, I received photos from Mr. Robinson showing members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at their Southwestern Region convention holding several of my children’s books as part of their regional book drive.
Seeing these leaders standing proudly with my stories honestly brought tears to my eyes. These books were written to inspire children, build confidence, and encourage a love of reading — and knowing they will now reach young readers through this initiative means more than words can express.
I am deeply grateful to Mr. Robinson and the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for supporting literacy and investing in the next generation of readers.
