At Lil Marco and Friends, we believe every child deserves to see themselves as the hero of their own story. That’s why we create beautifully illustrated, joy-filled children’s books that celebrate Black culture, inspire imagination, and help young readers build confidence and literacy skills.

Founded by a passionate author-illustrator, our stories center Black children in everyday adventures—filled with love, laughter, learning, and community. Whether it’s bedtime with grandma, a science experiment at school, or a magical journey through history, Lil Marco and his vibrant circle of friends reflect the richness of Black identity and the power of storytelling.
